पाकिस्तानी RJ डॉ. एजाज वारिस ने कैटरीना कैफ से माफी मांगी है। सलमान खान ने Bigg Boss 20 में कैटरीना के प्रेग्नेंसी के बाद बढ़े वजन को लेकर उन्हें ट्रोल करने वालों को फटकार लगाई थी। इसके बाद एजाज ने कैटरीना की अपीयरेंस को लेकर की गई अपनी टिप्पणियों के लिए माफी मांगी। एजाज ने इससे पहले अंबानी परिवार के गणेश चतुर्थी समारोह में शामिल होने के बाद कैटरीना के लुक पर कमेंट किया था।
सलमान के रियलिटी शो में इस मुद्दे पर बात करने के बाद एजाज ने सोशल मीडिया पर एक वीडियो शेयर किया और कैटरीना से सार्वजनिक रूप से माफी मांगी। उन्होंने लिखा, “SORRY KATRINA KAIF, From the bottom of my heart, I sincerely apologise to Katrina Kaif for my recent remarks. After Salman Khan mentioned it yesterday on Bigg Boss, I reflected and realised that my words may have hurt Katrina and many of her fans. Body shaming was never my intention. I’m also sorry to Salman Khan and to everyone who felt offended. Sometimes words come out wrong, and I genuinely regret mine.”

वीडियो में एजाज ने कहा कि उन्होंने Bigg Boss में सलमान का वह क्लिप देखा, जिसमें उन्होंने उनका जिक्र किया था। इसके बाद उन्हें महसूस हुआ कि उन्हें कैटरीना के बारे में ऐसी बातें नहीं कहनी चाहिए थीं।
उन्होंने कहा, “I was just watching this clip of Salman Khan from Bigg Boss in which he mentioned me and said that I shouldn’t have said such things to Katrina. And after this, I really felt that I shouldn’t have said all those things. I am a huge fan of Salman and Katrina too, but I don’t know in what flow I said those things in the recording. I just joked a bit for the hook of the video, but a lot of people are hurt because of my words.”
उन्होंने कैटरीना और अपनी रील से आहत हुए सभी लोगों से दोबारा माफी मांगी। एजाज ने कहा, “I am really sorry, Katrina Kaif, if my words have hurt you and sorry to everyone whose heart broke because of my reel. I know I said this in a very casual way without any intention of body shaming, but I don’t know in what flow I said those words. My words would have hurt, but my intention was never to body-shame. Keep rocking, Salman and Katrina.”
सलमान खान ने किया कैटरीना का बचाव
Bigg Boss 20 Weekend Ka Vaar में सलमान ने प्रेग्नेंसी के बाद कैटरीना को मिल रही ट्रोलिंग के बारे में बात की। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि हाल ही में मां बनी कैटरीना के वजन और लुक को लेकर लोग कमेंट क्यों कर रहे हैं।
सलमान ने कहा, “Pregnant hone ke baad everyone puts on weight,” और आगे कहा कि जब कैटरीना फिल्मों में वापस आएंगी तो वह फिर से फिट हो जाएंगी। उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि कैटरीना को अपने परिवार के साथ समय बिताने देना चाहिए।
सलमान ने उन लोगों को भी निशाने पर लिया जो अपनी पहचान छिपाकर दूसरों को ट्रोल करते हैं। उन्होंने सवाल किया कि जो लोग अपनी ही अपीयरेंस से खुश नहीं हैं, वे किसी दूसरे के लुक और वजन पर कमेंट क्यों करते हैं।
बाद में एजाज ने कहा कि दुनिया भर के लोगों द्वारा उनकी टिप्पणियों के लिए सवाल उठाए जाने के बाद उन्हें इसका बोझ महसूस हुआ। उन्होंने कैटरीना को “superstar of India” भी कहा और बाद में अपनी पोस्ट के कमेंट्स बंद कर दिए।
